I just realized today that it's been less than 3 weeks since I started this. It seems like longer than that. Maybe because I've not been very patient.

Here's the updated states:

PAS website: 539 Doorway hits, 107 Doorway Openings, 2 Callbacks (both duds)
MegaWealthy site: 2176 Page loads, 72 Returning Visitors of these 1831 Page loads (84%) and 61 Returning Visitors (84%) have been in the last 3 days.

What's different? In my impatience I bought some software that is supposed to divert page loads from major search engines and some that will automatically post to blogs of the appropriate type (business opportunity in this case). I also purchased 10,000 visitors to my site for $39. Why? I just wanted to see more traffice to my site! It is really exciting to see your numbers jump up. The more people invited, the more likely someone will buy.

I also received a notice from Peak Leads, that my 100 leads for $540 are about to expire. So I want to renew these? I don't know at this time. I'm not very happy with the results I've gotten so far and I think their leads are really expensive for no conversions.

Well, that's all for now.

Joni M. My MN friends came back from Myrtle Beach and I got tied up with them. Here are the results:

Day 8 - I had a call back request! Yeah! Good news and bad news though. The e-mail they entered on their sign on is a bad e-mail. My team leader did call him and leave a message. That's all I've heard on that one.

Day 9 - Today, I had another call back request! Things are really getting interesting now! Can't wait to see what happens with this one.

Stats today:

PAS site - 200 visitors; 1 doorway entry
Mega Wealthy site: 56 visitors; 2 call back requests

I expect this weekend to be slow as it's a holiday weekend. That seems to be playing out as I have only received two new leads from Peak Impact when I usually have 10 by this time of the day. I sent off an e-mail to the address I sent the details on the bank wire to and received a message back shortly. They said, Sorry for the delay. These numbers are due primarily to the PAS ad pak that came free with my joining and the Peak Leads I purchased through my Mega Wealthy site.

Some of the advertising I ordered last week should start to kick in so I hope my numbers will go up dramatically. It is really exciting to see your statistics go up on your site as you know in the back of your head that the next one may be THE one that decides to join. I am getting closer, I can feel it.

No new advertising placed today. As I said, its just a numbers game.

At my MegaWealth site, I have had 23 doorway openings (or click throughs) but no call backs yet. Again, its a numbers game, and this is only Day 5, so I've been happy so far. Some of my advertising is starting to draw traffic.

This morning I signed up for free e-zine ads through www.QuickIncome4You.com. They will post your ad to millions of e-zines for free. For a small additional fee of $5, they will rotate you through their front page and extend your ad run time to 120 days, so I paid the five bucks.

To date then, I have spent $2,191 on advertising, but I should be pretty well set for the next 30 days.

I went trinket and trash shopping with my Minnesota friends today. I am not much of a shopper, but it was kind of fun. I guess its all in the company you're with.

See you tomorrow.

Joni M. I have e-mailed back to each one a 'Thank you for visiting my site' e-mail. Unfortunately, two of them came back as undeliverable :( I'm disappointed in that.

On my PAS site, I have had 37 visitors, but no opt-ins. So people are getting there, they are just not going through the doorway. But at least they are coming. This is all a numbers game. The more people you get to your site, the more likely you are to have someone go through the doorway and make a sale.

To that end, I purchased two products today. One is 'The 200 best places to advertise on the Internet' which I purchased for $47 and the other, which I located through the first, is an Ezine Ad Blaster site which will blast my ad to over 1 million subscribers through e-zine ads. This service was $39.95.

I suppose I should sit back and wait until some of this advertising pans out, but I am so anxious to get qualified and make my first sale!

Well, that's all for today. I am going up into the Smoky Mountains National Park with my friends from Minnesota and enjoy the rest of my Sunday. See you tomorrow.

Joni M. I was reviewing my order with www.AdvertisetoMillions.com and realized I had ented the wrong URL! Instead of 6708, I entered 6078 - go figure, a dyslexic accountant. They had said, specifically, on the site to double check the URL because once it was submitted, they couldn't change it. Eeeeek! I immediately (if not sooner) sent them out a distress e-mail and waited with bated breath for the reply.

They answered within 30 minutes and said, "No, problem. We'll fix it." Yeah, I could breath again. I was impressed that they answered so fast and on a Saturday, too.

I forgot to add, the other day, that I spent $325 for 100 leads on AutoProspector. And today, I broke down and signed up for the PAS leads on the MegaWealth site - 100 leads for $540. I checked this afternoon and was glad for my decision. I had three leads waiting for me in my inbox and 4 entries through my gateway! Now, this is exciting!

As I sit here, I am waiting on company that is coming from Minnesota, a 17 1/2 hour drive. They are just on the other side of Knoxville and should be here soon. As a result, I don't know how much time I'll have over the next few days to post, but I'll try to get something in every day.

Spent on advertising to date: $2099

Joni M. They have lots of good information here about how to promote my sites, including suggestions and resources for off and on-line advertising.

I thought their prices for leads were a little on the expensesive side ($147.50 for 25; $514 for 100) so I think I will pass for now.

I did set up some of my additional product informaton for my other sites - www.MyTaxTutor.com, www.AChristianNation.com, and www.JMBeckerCPA.com

I really love the fact that you can advertise other products or opportunities.

I did go to the bank this morning and sent a wire transfer to PAS for 4 more ad (traffic) paks to add to my free one. Cost = $760.

I also went to www.AdvertisetoMillions.com and placed an order for 10,000 guaranteed visitors. Cost = $179. I also signed up for their Tidal Wave package which includes:

Solo Ad to over 300,000 business opportunity enthusiasts,
Contact Solo Ad to 315 lists, totaling over 155,000,
2000 unique, 20 second visitors to my site, and
real time lead collection providing 75 double opt-in leads with complete contact information.
Cost = $295.

The best thing about these guys is they write your ads for you! Check out their samples, the are clear and professional.

Total spent today = $1,234.

My web guy got my jump pages up today, so I can start using them in my advertising campaigns. You can check them out at: www.YouGottaSeeThis.Biz, www.9MinutesToRiches.com, and www.HelpingYouGetRich.com

I will use a different one for each different ad campaign so I can track how well they are doing.

Last time I checked, earlier today, I have had 11 visitors to my site with no one going through my doorway page and no call back requests (of course).

I am not discouraged, though, this is just the beginning!

Joni M. Now, some of you may not plan to be as agressive as I am; in fact, some of you may take the passive route. I am just chronicling exactly what I am doing and the results I am getting. If you did the exact same thing, would you get the exact same results? Propably not, there are a lot of factors that go into getting a response from your marketing ventures. That said . . . .

I only had a few minutes this morning to check my e-mail for my sites before I had to leave for an appointment with a client. Sure enough, there was the welcome e-mail from PAS with my site information. Yeah!

Keeping an eye on the clock, I decided I had enough time to purchase a few domain names to use to market the site. What? you cry, I thought you got a free site, what do you need with more domain names? Well, as an affiliate, the domain name for your site becomes long and cumbersome. Mine is:

http://www.prosperityautomatedsystem.com/members/moreinfo/

It's awkward for me to type that in, let alone a prospect. Lets face it, we have become pretty lazy. Anyway, so I get a few shorter domain names that will "jump" to the longer domain that represents my PAS site.

I found some good ones too:

www.YouGottaSeeThis.Biz

www.9MinutestoRiches.com

www.HelpingYouGetRich.com

I'll call my web guy when I get back - he is the greatest. His name is Jacob Timmons and he owns SDWebPros. He is good and he is (relatively) cheap, but worth every penny. If you need domain names or web hosting, check him out at www.sdwebpros.com

Got to run now. More Later.

So I got back and started about 2 o'clock this afternoon by checking out my new PAS site and moved quickly to the back end to check out all the goodies there. I clicked on each link to see what was there.
I printed out the ordering instructions for the traffic paks. The maximum you can order for a month is 5, so I was going to add 4 to the free one I get in the first month. This turned out to be very frustrating. They are not offering any kind of direct on-line ordering system at this time, so placing an order is a round about process. I didn't want to go to my bank and get a cashier's check or money order or to initiate a wire transfer, I didn't have the means to make a direct deposit to their bank account, so the only option left was to pay through AlertPay, which I guessed was similar to PayPal and I was correct.

So I went to all the trouble to set up an account with AlertPay (which I had to find by myself as there was no link on the PAS site) so I could get my traffic paks ordered today (the advent of the Internet has made us so impatient). After all that, it will take 3-7 days for them to verify my bank account information. AAAAAAAAgh! Foiled Again! So I'll go to the bank tomorrow and send a wire :(

Cruised around in the site for awhile and then decided to check out my MegaWealthy site. I hadn't received their welcome letter yet, so didn't have the log in information. Not to worry. I clicked on the 'Forgot Password' button and they immediately e-mailed me my log on information. This is where all the good marketing information is.

I downloaded the two page sales letter (which can be customized from the site) and began the process of printing them out to mail to my 1,000 opportunity seekers. Although when I was on the site I read a page about not buying 'Opportunity Seekers'. Uh oh, I may have made a boo-boo in my haste to be ready to go. Oh Well, I'll try a couple of hundred and see what happens.

I skimmed through some of the other stuff as I'd been at it about 3 hours now and was getting tired. I will have to go back tomorrow and check it out some more.

I did stop back by my PAS site to check my web traffic and I've already had three visitor's to my site! Yeah! Time for me to go kick back a cold one in a toast to my new, prosperous life.

Until tommorrow.

Joni M. Remember, I ordered 1,000 business opportunity names while I was waiting for my finances to be rearranged so I could join PAS.

I am using high quality ivory envelopes and paper and first class stamps to mail out my PAS invitations. I am also handwriting the envelopes instead of using the labels they came on. Why? I figure more people will open the enveleopes if they are presented this way.

Face it, how many times to you get a letter addressed with a label and automatically throw it in the trash? Let alone a letter in an economy envelope and a 'pre-sort' stamp. Right in the trash at my house. It doesn't help to mail letters if noone is going to open them, you might as well save your money.

So, I am preparing my envelopes and trying to be patience. It's hard though, I just want to get started today!

Until tomorrow.

Joni M. It then takes 24-48 hours before my sites will be up and running. The weekend does not count in the 24-48 hours.

I received a nice e-mail from my sponsors. They will be sending the wholesale payment to PAS on Monday. Then my sites and back offices will be activated. You get two websites with the system. The first is a Mega Wealthy site and back office. The second is a coporate (Prosperity Automated System) site and back office. You can market one or both.

Once my sites are activated, my sponsors will be adding me to their team's traffice rotator to get more hits to my site. They are averaging 10 hits a day from the traffice rotator.

Also, your first traffic pak is included with your site license. This traffic pak will send 250-300 visitors per month to my site. You can buy up to 5 traffic paks a month.

They will also be sending me a welcome e-mail with additonal information and marketing ideas. And later, once I've had a chance to familiarize my self with the sites and back offices, we will have a phone conversation about a marketing strategy.

This is great! Someone to hold my hand through the initial process. It certainly makes me feel as if I am not alone in the business opportunity of a lifetime.

In addition, I have been automatically registered in the PAS/AutoProspector follow up system. This membership is free and provides the following benefits:
10 Personalized Auto followup messages sent to my PAS website doorway page.
Prospecting Tips, Tools and Resources available in my AutoProspector backoffice
Access to highly repsonsive lead programs

This will help me become fully automated with my PAS business.

I'm loving this! More tomorrow.

Joni M. I am anxious to get started.

In the meantime, I'll add a little bit to what I posted yesterday. One of the things I did when I made the decision to join this business opportunity was to order 1,000 business opportunity names from E.M. Tech Mailing lists - www.listprovider.com. They came in the mail on Thursday, the 11th. I ordered them on Monday, the 8th. That's fast!

In anylyzing the PAS site, I saw that they have a 2 page sales letter that I can print off and mail out. I will use the business opportunity seekers names for this purpose.

I plan on using many different means of promotion, as many as I can afford at a time. I forgot to mention that you get a free 30 day traffic pak with your software license. You can buy up to 5 traffic paks a month and I plan on buying the maximum every month. More paks = more visitors to my site which = (I hope) more sales.

So I sit and wait and check my e-mail every 10 minutes and dream up more ways I can invite people to visit my site.

Until tomorrow - Joni

Joni M. I came across this opportunity from a solo ad in my e-mail box.

Being a CPA, I was skeptical. I have seen too many people try and fail at home-based business opportunities. They can't get excited about the product or they have to sell a zillion units to make any kind of a profit or they spend all their money buying thier original inventory (required by the company) that they have nothing left to spend on marketing or they are holding down a full-time job and just don't have the time required to market their product and run their business or don't want to spend hours on the phone everyday qualifying prospects or any of several other reasons that it hasn't worked. I have been involved in few opportunities myself over the years and each one has been a disappointment.

When I reviewed the PAS opportunity though, something (actually several somethings) caught my eye. First of all, they do 95% of the work for you. That is their claim; I think it's more like 99% of the work. They do all the selling and closing for you - that was the main thing that appealed to me. I don't have to 'sell' anyone, my team leaders do it for me. According to them, all I have to do is tell them where to send the checks. And they are not small checks either - $3,000 or $1,100 per sale. I started to get excited about the PAS opportunity.

In addition, I can use their system to market up to six other sites, products or opportunities, right on my PAS site. It just so happens that I have exactly six other income streams that I have been trying to market individually. If you've ever tried to do that, you know it can be very time consuming. With my PAS site, I can market them all in one place, with one advertising budget, instead of trying to juggle funds between six advertising budgets. Now I was even more excited.

My only requirement is to invite people to visit my site. That's it. The site itself and the team leaders will take care of the rest. And they will do that for you, too, for a small additonal fee. How much easier can it get?

Of course, how much you make is up to you. Do you let them do the marketing for you and just sit back and collect checks or do you put some effort into it and collect even more checks?

The more I looked at the opportunity - and I looked at it several times (the web site and brochure) - the more I thought to myself, "This is a no brainer." So I moved around some funds and took the plunge. Now, I plan to chronicle my progress through this blog, so other interested parties can see exactly what I've done, how much I've made and how quickly.

I hope you come back often to check my progress.

Joni M.
