In the Beginning
Yesterday I joined the Prosperity Automated System (PAS), a Self-Promoting, Multi-Income, Marketing Tool, at the Premier Level. I came across this opportunity from a solo ad in my e-mail box.
Being a CPA, I was skeptical. I have seen too many people try and fail at home-based business opportunities. They can't get excited about the product or they have to sell a zillion units to make any kind of a profit or they spend all their money buying thier original inventory (required by the company) that they have nothing left to spend on marketing or they are holding down a full-time job and just don't have the time required to market their product and run their business or don't want to spend hours on the phone everyday qualifying prospects or any of several other reasons that it hasn't worked. I have been involved in few opportunities myself over the years and each one has been a disappointment.
When I reviewed the PAS opportunity though, something (actually several somethings) caught my eye. First of all, they do 95% of the work for you. That is their claim; I think it's more like 99% of the work. They do all the selling and closing for you - that was the main thing that appealed to me. I don't have to 'sell' anyone, my team leaders do it for me. According to them, all I have to do is tell them where to send the checks. And they are not small checks either - $3,000 or $1,100 per sale. I started to get excited about the PAS opportunity.
In addition, I can use their system to market up to six other sites, products or opportunities, right on my PAS site. It just so happens that I have exactly six other income streams that I have been trying to market individually. If you've ever tried to do that, you know it can be very time consuming. With my PAS site, I can market them all in one place, with one advertising budget, instead of trying to juggle funds between six advertising budgets. Now I was even more excited.
My only requirement is to invite people to visit my site. That's it. The site itself and the team leaders will take care of the rest. And they will do that for you, too, for a small additonal fee. How much easier can it get?
Of course, how much you make is up to you. Do you let them do the marketing for you and just sit back and collect checks or do you put some effort into it and collect even more checks?
The more I looked at the opportunity - and I looked at it several times (the web site and brochure) - the more I thought to myself, "This is a no brainer." So I moved around some funds and took the plunge. Now, I plan to chronicle my progress through this blog, so other interested parties can see exactly what I've done, how much I've made and how quickly.
I hope you come back often to check my progress.
